Alison, Ian and Shannon are grateful to Tungasuvvingat Inuit for hosting the official launch of the Injury Prevention Indicators for Inuit Children and Youth booklet on May 17, 2012. Approximately 120 people attended the monthly luncheon at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Vanier, Ontario and heard about injury indicators in both English and Inuktitut. Thanks also to Looee Okalik, our amazing partner from ITK who assisted in the coordination of the event. It was a success!
