To date, the Burden of Injury study has recruited 142 participants. We are pleased to have reached more than 50% of our final goal of 240 participants. We have had great success recruiting at the emergency department (82% of total participants), but have been surprised by the difficulty in recruiting participants at the hospital wards (18% of total participants). We are also in the process of obtaining both 1-month and 4-month follow-up data. We look forward to completing recruitment and beginning our data analysis over the next few months.
